Pet Physiotherapy

Many conditions that we have ascribed above cannot be managed purely with medications alone. A multimodal approach that includes analgesics, weight management, physiotherapy, nutraceuticals, and a well-balanced diet are essential to accelerate return to functional mobility.

An initial consultation is still necessary as it will complement findings by your veterinarian. Even with the same condition - every pet will present different physical symptoms so these must be identified and managed appropriately for best outcome yields. We strongly advocate that our interventions must be comfortable, engaging and therapeutic. Broadly, every 45-min session would comprise a combination of pain management technologies; soft tissue mobilisation techniques; and functional exercises. These will be further calibrated to your pet’s condition during the session.

Pet parents are highly encouraged to participate as our sessions are highly interactive. We will often also prescribe a home-program to be carried out in between physical sessions with us.

We chose to focus on our specialty areas in land-based pain management and physiotherapy. This is often exceedingly robust enough for >95% of our patient profiles with no compromise in therapeutic outcomes. Hydrotherapy is just one of many techniques in the canine rehabilitation therapists’ toolbox, and is best carried out by a dedicated hydrotherapist. If necessary, we can provide a referral to one of our trusted professional partners.
